Live Music, Live Music, Live Music… No Track Shows.
The venue is a free space to share what we’ve created, make some new fans, sell CDs or to just release some stress. However, it has to be organic, it has to be real. Therefore, we do not book any track shows: Here are your performance options:
1. Bring your own band or perform acoustically
2. Hire the house band to play your set (this will be a minimal amount). We will will provide one rehearsal the Sunday before you are scheduled to play at ‘Soul Loft.’
Open Mic
If you are only interested in the “Open Mic” portion of the show, you will be allowed to perform 1-2 songs with the house band. All “Open Mic” performers will be pre-arranged.
Marketing & Promotions
A generic flier is being created and will be customizable for the artist/band(s) being featured that night of Soul Loft. A wordpress blog has also been created to feature video, music and links of the weekly artists and recaps of previous shows. For the purposes of promotion please provide the following:
1. High Res Photo – Required
2. Video, if available
3. CD/EP Single or Song to be featured – Required
4. Links to ONE website – Required
Soul Loft Web Series:
The night of ‘Soul Loft’ the featured artist will be interviewed by Elle B. prior to their performance. Additionally, one song (pre-selected) from the artist set will also be recorded and edited together with the artists interview for the ‘Soul Loft’ web series. The footage will be posted online and used to promote the artist and ‘Soul Loft’ as a whole.
Guestlist:
Because the venue is intimate and has a small capacity, we are unable to provide a guestlist for artists. However, artists will be allowed one ‘plus one’ comp. It will be the responsibility of the artist to pre-arrange (pay for) additional comps (for special guests such as label execs, team members). We as artists must place a value on our art as well as our initiatives and require that everyone supports the collective.

Backline: Soul Loft provides the following backline: vocal monitors, mics, mixer, drum kit (drummer needs their own snare), one main keyboard. NO guitar or bass amp provided.
